Blue needles and gas/temp done! (pic)

Hi all, finally i got the blue leds done by Hammer. He is a really nice guy. Answer all by questions through email fast.
I think the gauge look beatiful compare to orange. Can't wait to finish rest of the leds (ac, radio, clock) :)

That turned out great! I like the red in the higher RPM range, is that done by the indiglo guage? What brand indiglo guage did you use?

It's the reverse indiglos that coolcelica was running a GP on.

whoa those are hecka taite - where do you get those? and doesn't the gas/temp gauge usually stay amber? how do you change that? or does it change it with that specific brand of indiglos? those are sweet though!!!

go into the GP forum.. you'll see a GP my CooOlcelica on reverse indiglo gauges... get in touch with him, pay, receive, and enjoy...

for the blue coolcelica said you need to get in touch with TheHammer ... look him up on the site member director up top and tell him what you want to do and he'll give you the right LED numbers.

thanks guys, i have ac reverse indiglos , and i got it on ebay long time ago. except for the needles and gas/temp, yes the reverse indiglos apears like that. it come with a switch which you can change back ground color and also the brightness, i think blue is still the best.
The needles and gas/temp will stay amber unless you change the leds, which i think is ugly with blue reverse indglos. If you have questions about the installations of the leds or the price you should visit teacelica.com or email thehammer@teamcelica.com directly.

I'm glad you like it man... it TOTALLY changes the look of the car, while driving anyways.. hehehe. I still have no idea why Toyota picked Amber for the gauges and Green for the radio and climate contols. just installed my gauges like that a day ago...love 'em. Now i just need to do the gas/temp and needles. One question...it looks like and i thought that the needles themselves were orange on the backs so wouldn't you have to change that AND the leds for the needles? And if so, what's the best way to make the needles themsevles not orange and then recalibrate them? Someone told me that you just need to change the leds though.......

Well, if you order the led's from me, I send full instructions on how to solder the led's as well as how to take the orange paint off the needles, and get them the color that you want, and finally how to re-calibrate them.

for those who need a filter for their clock, either red or blue, i have lots of em. i had to pay 22$ for a big pack of light filters to get what i wanted. pm me and send me a envelope and like a dollar and i'll mail you one for the clock.
