I know what you're going to say... and the answer is yes, I did try a search. However, I couldn't find anything :(

Wondering if anyone has any pictures of painted engine manifolds? Includes the cylinder head and intake manifold.. I think this would look sweet and want to know if anyone has done it and if it's easy to do.

I've painted my callipers with that folia tec stuff and it worked out great. They sell something like that for the engine to:Click Here (http://online-katalog.foliatec.de/_english/cs_pro/ViewDetails.php?prodId=0013c95d7634f98a&xDummy=1)

But it says it only withstands 300 degree (Celcius) heat. Is that high enough? I know our engines get pretty hot.
Is there other stuff I should use?

Help!

huh?? I think you're confusing it with your valve cover. I'm talking about painting the aluminum part of your engine. Not the covers. =)

Get it professionally powdercoated. A buddy of mine just got his miatas' valve powdercoated, and it came back 10X better than i could have imagined. Very smoothe and...well, pretty! lol

Im not talking about the plastic cover, im talking about the aluminum valve cover. I might take it to a shop, both valve cover and intake manifold to get it painted.

If only that shop could finish the freaking intake manifold prototype that they've started like 6mos ago:angry:
