Strut Mounts

I was just checking on a noise coming from my suspension the other day to find that my right Front Strut Mount has one of its 3 bolts snapped in half. It is still long enuogh to where you can see the thread, but the stock bolts are too tall to fit on it. I am going to goto home depot and get a new bolt that is shorter to hold it in place for now, but i was wondering if anyone else has had to replace their strut mounts and if there is any reason to go with aftermarket parts. I have tein s-tech springs with kyb gr2 struts, and am looking to get a strut tower brace/bar in the near future... if that changes anything. So far I have found a set of KYB strut mounts for around $140, but if anyone knows anything else please let me know.

check your local junkyard, they can get you a replacement strut mount cheap. sounds like whoever tightened the top of the struts did it abit too tight.

are there gonna be many 2000-04 celicas in a junk yard though? Ill check it out for sure... but yeah i thought the exact same thing about the over tightening.... i figure its time to switch mechanics....
