megan c-piller + camera = Success?

well i want to mount a camera in my celi for racing and after reading some threads i see alot of people make custom one. as i looked in the area they where being placed at i realized that i couldnt i just put the megan racing c piller bar and buy a bracket to hold up the camera. would this work?

From a previous thread in the AutoX forums. He used the same idea of using a C-pillar bar and a camera mount.. looks pretty good. Search JDGTS in the video forums and you can see the how well the mount works out.

I would try the JDGTS mod with a halfway decent c-pillar bar.

In my experience "megan anything + _________ = Failure" Their parts are just too cheaply made, not strong enough.

i got a megan racing strut bar, and its one of the highest quality bars ive ever seen, not that of the trd supra single peice, but for 80 bucks, it sure kicks ass. Why do you think the quality is low on these bars? Just because its a kockoff brand of sorts?

because the rear upper bent so easily on me. Plus they couldn't even send me a proper set of bolts for the damn thing. They sent me two left side bolts, so i had to contact them to fix it and it took them weeks to get it returned. While installing it I realize I can flex it with just my hands, but install it anyways. After a few weeks of auto-x it was perm. bent. I got rid of it and put in a hypermotive bar, and all was well. Much more solid and of much better quality materials.

lol nah it was a really crappy camera. I spun around a parkinglot with it but vid was such crap u couldnt see anything
