Between the Bilstein pss9 and the KW Variant, which one do you guys think is better? My friend wanted to know which one will benefit him more. He plans to auto-x his Audi TT.

I had an interesting discussion about this with one of the guys at GMG just last week. PSS9 = good if he wants to keep OEM ride quality. KW Variant 3 if he wants the suspension to be a bit stiffer. But both perform very nicely. I'm going towards a set of KW V3's myself.

Bilstein makes some of the best shocks period. They will also rebuild/revalve them for a very reasonable rate with quick turn around out of California (revalve is along the lines of $75 per shock).

So, for autocross I'd get the PSS9 and have them revalved to something useful.
