so i went to replace my rear pads.my tech told me they were so bad they were metal to rotor. do you think i need to get new rotors?

check the rotor for the minimum thickness, then use a caliper tool to measure how thick the disc is. if its under or really near the limit then replace. the minimum thickness is usually 1-2mm difference from new (ex. minimum thickness is 20, the nominal would be 22)

oh forgot to mention they pin print or index the minimum thickness somewhere on the rotor. check the sides of the disc and the hat.

did your tech say you need to replace the rotors?
I doubt the rear rotor need replaced!!!
