If you or your shop can't bring the camber into an acceptable level with the stock adjustments, your going to need to purchase and install an aftermarket adjustable rear camber link.

You can bring the camber to acceptable levels with the stock adjustments with a 2 inch drop. I did it with a 2.5

Use the search feature to find: DIY Camber and Toe adjustments. You'll be happy you didn't waste money on Hotchkis camber links when you see the results.

Your full of it. It's is physically impossible. Why do you think a camber kit was made?

Quite a bold claim, and it's not physically impossible.

Why was it made? Probably the same reason certain "suspension modifications" were made for the Celica that do absolutely jack.

Because people will buy it.

It is possible to bring it into stock specs with stock adjustments. How much negative camber are most of you guys running?

Yes, it is.

I have no idea, but whatever stock specs are.

The camber links just make camber easier to change, they do not fundamentally alter your suspension geometry.

You'll be fine with an alignment.

No it's possible if you go to a shop that knows what they are doing....now THAT is almost impossible.

Let me get my sheet : ...

Front : bolt # 90105-15006 up and down. maximum adjustment, -0.19P and -0.32D with -1.5" H&R street coils. Toe is 0.02 both sides. camber set at 0 to -0.25 is the target for daily drive a bit more for heavy driving, -1 for drag and custum for track. Also this is with me inside.

Rear : Stock bolt adjuster set at the maximum, -0.91 and -0.88, toe in is 0.09, 0.12. Rear springs are H&R race coils (I guess -2", meaby 2 1/4)

That said, my car is quite emptied, driver seat is fiberglass momo -30lbs. No pass seat but nitrous installation is there so it's the same, interior is all removed exept door panels and roof. Motorcycle battery -20lbs, removed ac -30lbs. And a couple here and there, so meaby -200lbs total I guess.

I guess you could easily adjust camber within respectable range for daily drive with a stock celica fitted with a -1.5 kit all around. But with a race kit, it's impossible in the back without removing the interior. Remember the rear should be set at -0.5. -1 is the big max.

If you have questions ask, I done the aligment myself, a father's friend of mine runs a tire shop garage and a small racing team in the town.

Thanks for backing me up people. I'm guessing because he is saying it's physically impossible that:

A) He's never tried to adjust camber links before
B) He bought the hotchkis camber links :chuckles:

The thing you have to remember is that the weight of the car will make the camber more negative in the back. If you want 0 camber, adjust it to +1. When you jack down the car, you should have 0, maybe -1 on your back wheels.

i had to buy a camber kit for my car. it was fine when i got it aligned..but when i put my system in the back it would throw it out of whack in no time..i did around a 2.5" drop.

Yeah, only the stock can adjust for +/- 3. Your system is gonna drop your car lower, should have gone with less drop. Oh well.
