at least, i think that's what there's called. They're the support beams that attach to the top of the front and rear struts that go across and connect the right and left struts. So, which are the best ones out there for performance?
also, im considering getting a tein ssp set with the edfc set up, will the edfc be compatible with any strut tower bars?
any info you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

for the front, it's really not that important. more for looks. and for FWD cars, a stiff front will tend to understeer more. most of us try to stiffen up the rear to make it tilt towards the oversteer region, and using methods like throttle liftoff, snap over etc.
for the rear, look for those 3 point triangle type. they are most stiff. TRD n C-One had them. TRD is steel, whereas C-One had them in aluminum.
the EDFC should not get in the way. afaik, the newer SSP tein model has a sunk in pillow mount that would allow the EDFC to seat lower in the strut. (in the past, the EDFC tends to rub against the hood, resulting in damage.)

I would listen to zuoom about the better goal to be inducing oversteer from the rear.
But, the best front strut tower bars for the celi are the ones that are 1 solid piece design, instead of a 3 piece bolt together part.
Lots of people love the RMM (rod millen motorsport) and APR bars. They aren't too pricey. More expensive JDM lovers have found that the beatrush/c-one bars are very sturdy but also close to 300 bucks.
Just dont buy something cheap on ebay that you will later want to sell. Such as Megan Racing.
I started with a Tanabe front strut bar on my celi (~70-80 dollars), and then later upgraded to a RMM. I sometimes use it, sometimes do not. Right now it's mounted.

id go with the APR if you just have to have one.

Do some research. Just a general rule of thumb, the most effective designs are ones that do not have moving parts (like hinges and are more than 1 piece) and SOLID.

ok, thanks for your guys help. i did come shopping and i came across a couple other things that im wondering about:
lower arm bar
Front Under Brace
Trunk Bar
i found these at kamispeed.com and i've never seen these before, are these any good or worth getting if you already have sways, coil overs, etc?

Depends on how complete you want a suspension setup. If you wanna go all out on suspension tuning then I'd recommend getting nearly every bar that exists out there.

I'd start with a 3 point rear brace if I were you. Trunk bar, lower arm bars, etc. are generally added after you have the basic coils, front/rear strut, 3 pt brace.

The Cusco lower arm bar or the C-One front under brace both work very well.
Some people have even put BOTH on their car, but I am not sure if that's helping or hurting..
As far as the trunk bar get a 3pt bar. The TRD is probably one of the cheapest you can get out there, unless you can find a hypermotive that is used. C-one is a really beefy bar, but also more expensive...
