I have talked to a member on the site and they are goin to let me more less have a set of jic coilovers that need rebuilt or revalved. I just got off the phone with jic and they say around 150 each on the front and 250 each on the rear. should i rebuild them or buy some new ones.

If they are good as new rebuilt, then go with it. I can't see them being anything less than good after being rebuilt.

Which JIC coilover is this? And yes, when you have them rebuilt/revalved, etc. it is basically brand new.

I have been hearing that when you have them rebuilt you can ask them to change the stiffness and other factors too

Uhh, no thanks. I rather go with tein before I put any JIC crap on my car. My sister had some and it took them 6+ months to re-valve. I think they send it to Japan, I dont really care, it shouldn't take that long. They have 2 versions for the celica I think, the cheaper one may not be as good as the more expensive one in terms of quality.

Eww Tein. JIC's actually better setting up coils. They used to have the problem of blowing out and sort many years back but they've been better nowadays.

Edit: Not to mention, their service has gotten better since those times too.
