WOW!

Let me just say, if you rock all seasons - switch to a dedicated snow and dedicated summer.

You simply can't beat a snow tires.

EX - I'd been driving my sister's Audi A4 Quattro AWD (with crappy all seasons) around in this winter storm we're getting, but last night I swapped to my RWD Z4 - its got skinnier-than-stock snow tires (you want skinnier to cut through the snow) - and this car blew her Quattro out of the water.

So by swapping tires with the seasons you get the best traction for the conditions, AND you save on wear by not running the same mediocre all season all year long.

I've got Bridgestone Blizzaks and I love them. They're great tires. I find myself driving faster than trucks and suv's in light snow, and not losing traction at all. I would highly recommend winter tires for anyone who actually has winter weather.

Although, I noticed that they don't handle very well in rainy weather. I slid a little taking at turn into a parking lot when it was like 50 degrees and raining.

same here, swapped to the winter/snow tires last week. went to a dinner party on saturday night during a huge snowstorm, as we all left, i just straight up owned everyone out the parking lot, when i got home, my friends that saw me driving were all like "dude wtf why would you go that fast". so i guess they're being put to good use :)

after a day of driving in my 17's w/all-seasons last week, i gave in and bought 15 inch Unique steel wheels w/Michelin X-Ice snow tires... let me just say that the weekend that just past.... i felt like i was the king of the snowy road :gap:
