Ok I got my action packed '02 in jan.
I dont run a front plate.
With the plate and the plate mounting bracket off there is that stupid hole in the bumper. You can actually see the stryo-foam insert in the slit.

So, short of goin to a body shop and doin 1 of 2 things:
1.) getting it filled and sanded/repainted
2.) having a piece of fiberglass custom made to slide in there

WHAT CAN ONE DO? lol
any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated

i say to get a shop to fill it in, thats probably the easiest and best way to get it covered...

i think thats a replica version... the sides looks like wings west.. so its prob some knockoff...

edit: oh yeah, duh.. his sig says it all. guessing the knockoff ones have that sealed already. if not, then ask him

Well since you need to paint it anyways, getting a body shop to fill it before they do it is no big deal.

The knockoff one does not come sealed, it also says in my sig it has custom molds, thats what those mold are.

There is a guy on e-bay that's selling a carbon fiber cover just for that reason. It goes for like $15. Just do a search for Celica and carbon fiber. He calls it a bracket cover.

Actually not that easy since the bumper is urethane. But it can be done.

bumper is already on the car
i ordered it with the XY package
its a lease
dont wanna put that much time / effort into it.
filling / repainting isnt in my plans
ill try to get a piece of fiberglass made to slide in there and rivet into the stock mounting holes.
there will be a gap.
you will see the lines
but it will be better than it is now
