Anyone else notice that most racers, when they talk about racing, they win around 90% of their races and talk as if their pimpedout celica can take a porsche or an SS camaro?

i can be pround to say that of the 4 times ive raced, ive lost 3, and the 1 that i did win, the old woman in her corolla was scared out of her mind!

I lost to an old station wagon once. The guy revved at me and I revved back. I was pulling on him and thought I had it won, then all of the sudden he hits NOS, and pulls on me REAL bad. I felt so stupid and the guy laughed his ass off when he saw my face. Talk about the ultimate sleeper.

Most spectacular Loss: Porsche 911 Twin Turbo with some mods.... didn't even see his tailights for long he was moving so friggin fast

Best win - mid 80s Wusstang 5.0 ghettoed out with 12" wheels stickin out to teh side, 50 tons of aftermarket chrome and whitewalls etc.... guy has a buddy and they were revving like crazy - saying nice Rice, even smoked their tires a little.... I had em by about 2 carlengths by the time we hit 60. I even waited at the next light so I could spank em again. Someone needs to talk to that moron about changing gear ratios when you change your tire size :)
