HELP with some Lighting/HID issues

Hello everyone, I am pretty new about all these modding stuff. But recently my celica's(2000, GT) headlight (one of them) went off, and the other one always point the light at wrong postion, so at night (with no lights) I basically can't see anythng. :(

Recently I just ordered a new pair of headlights from ebay and I hope this could solve the issue about the beam not pointing at the right position. (Tell me if I am right or not, thanks)

But then I kindda also wanna change my lights with HID so it can have a better appearance. I decide to get the 8000K one but I know there are many socket or size model for the cars (i.e. 9004,9005, H1, etc) and I would like to know which one should the Celica GT 2000 use :D

I think it is a pretty dumb question for most of u guys, but yea, i never figured that out, hope you guys can help me with it. AND IF is there anything else I should be aware of relating to this issue, you are very welcome to write it as well.

um...headlights can be adjusted by a screw. It's on the back of the light...looks like a washer connected to a bolt with little teeth.

low beam is h7 (top projector), high beam is 9005 (lower bulb)

When you get hid kits..its better if you disable the drl so it will lengthen the lifetime of the hid.

as bman said, lows are h7, high are the 9005, fogs (if you have them) are h3

DRL=daytime running lights, the ones that appear "orange' during the daytime.

Oh i see, thanks for that, and is the fog lights the ones at the very bottom of the car?

Um, yeah. They are round and much smaller than the headlights.

To be sure, just check out the bulb size of those headlights your ordered from ebay. Sometimes they are not the same as your OEM bulbs.

You mean the HID bulbs or the bulbs coming with the Headlight set?

^^either one. if it's from ebay, just check. remember, they should be h7's
