Miami Hot Import Nights 12/15

hot import nights this weekend at miami beach convention center. let's all meet up and go together! im thinkin dave n busters' for the meet, then leave from there. Put down wut time you think the meet should be at cuz some of us are gonna go when HIN starts at 5 pm. :gap:

HIN is ok,Most of my guys up North more than likely will not attend down there. No offense earlier in the year HIN was a big dissapointment this year up in Tampa,and Orlando. The only thing good about Miami is there will be quite a few Nissan Skyline's down there. I think HIN has gone to far in riceing there cars out,most of them can't even be driven on the street. One thing I notice about HIN is the fast Cars and the better Cars are out in the Parking Lot :)
I rather spend my money at the Track,at a racing event,Drifting does nothing for me either,Drag Racing or some WRC :)

call me cheap but $25 is too much for my to look at show cars and car models. i've never been there but i can image how crowded it is since its a one night event, parking garage for most of you, FTL?
that parking garage has some badd ass speed bumps by the way, easily bottom out if you go just a little too fast over them with a drop.

you guys met up at dolphin mall? i assume you take the 836 east from there. that sounds like the best route to go, given there is no traffic, but of course there always is. you do get a good photo op right when you get onto the macarthur causeway with downtown miami behind you to the right.

A friend of mine went and said HIN Miami sucked and was really disappointed in the people that were attending. Thought that Tampa and Orlando were much better. Said that there was alot of disrespect of the cars and people that were there. Anyone have any opinions? I'm kinda glad I didn't go.

yeah i was kind of mad it was not as good as i thought but i did see some nice celicas and i go to see hombres ride ...it was nice, the pink celica was nice to even thought no engine mods last year they had better cars ,
i think they needed to put a worst in show award, there was a civic with a broken kit dirty ass engine and all hit interior discusting the roof was all ****ed up, and the other thing was that they had to many american car in an import show, what the **** is that
ill post some picks of the nice rides that were there,
with hombredelastra we are going to put together a celi meet for next year in orlando or tampa so lets get some ideas going people...

i am going to upload my gig of pics tomarrow and post it in reader rides most likely. It was an alright show. I had a good time with friends, saw people i only get to see at HIN's and met new people. My spot was pretty prime so got lots of attention. Models were not too shabby. no simply stunning rides but were some decent rides. Also I did not experience any more disrespect then any other show but could be that the booth was well lit, open and watched constantly.

Nick with the MR2 took home an award but i dont recall what it was. i did ok, ended up with 1st in toyota so was decently happy about that. all in all it was a realy fun weekend with friends/cars/models. i think some people just got expecting it to suck (so even if its ok their mindset is it isnt good) or be uber amazing (which is rairly the case), and then bitch about it later. go have fun and enjoy yourself.
