I am getting Stainless Steel brake lines for my car. See pics in gallery. I have a GT with GTS rear conversion brakes. I was wondering if I should paint my calipers black or red or any other color while I have the wheels off. Let me know what you guys think.

sorry It is Carbon Blue/Black. I have on it black rims, with a machined lip.

That is what I thought. I get a lot of complements of how clean my car is, I would hate to make it look ricey.

I like painted calipers. Mine came painted black.

carbon blue to give contrast to the car and the calipers and since the interior is blue too but has to match the paint of the car

Get some blue paint, gradually add a little black at a time (In that order) until you reach the shade of blue you want (Carbon blue? :naughty: ) I'd also blend in some metallic.. it'd look sweet and still be stealth! The extra couple bucks would be worth it for a custom matching color IMHO, and it's not that much extra work.

I so agree!! I want to get the stoptech brake upgrade. I decided to go with Black with Stoptech SS brake lines look nice!

So how's your car doing in that cold weather? Did you swap the PFC back in?

It got to 42 down here last night :)

Freaking great. I love the pfc with cold weather, I only wish I could get it retuned.

I just finished putting on a crazy amount of black paint on my calipers. I need to put on my SS brake lines tomorrow.
