k...read the install doc.....what should i preferably plug the hose(that's attached to b-valve) up w/?
article also says to put hose back in "same slot that it came out of"....meaning re-attach to valve? or just insert in same general area it came from?
thanks y'all...
man, sure FEEL like a newbie....just hate ripping stuff apart and guess-working on it

The easiest way is to use a small screw. It will thread into the tube and stay snug. Re: "put hose back in same slot that it came out of"... just slide it into the side of the air cleaner nozzle. There is nothing left to attach it to, if you remove the B/F valve. It will make sense, when you get to that point.
Good luck! This was an easy mod and the change in intake sound is pretty good. No real noticeable change in performance, as others have said, though.

I dont' think i'd put the hose with a screw back in the airl box. If I remember correctly, the hose would then be sitting underneath the air filter. There might just be enough suction to pull the screw out. Just my 2 cents.

Never had any problems with the screw in the hose. Just make sure the screw is tight and that you actually have to screw it into the hose, not just push it in.

i screwed a screw in mine. i think that they instruct you to put the hose back in the box just to get it out of the way, so that it isnt just dangling under the hood.
