Only in the US I suppose. Over here and in Europe it's normal for the vast majority to drive manual. Credit the mandatory manual transmission rule for driver's ed maybe, but you see girls driving manual for anything from little Miatas to Nissan Patrols.


As for the Celica being tagged a girl's car: I never understood the logic of tagging any car as a girl's car. The ratio for Celicas here is 70% male 30% female (I have access to the DMV records here ;) ), about the same ratio for Miatas which are also tagged as girl's cars. If I have to tag a car a girl's car by what gender is in tha majority then by that definition the 350Z is definitely a girl's car (or should I say older (50+) single women) cuz that's what you see here. Civic coupes and hatches? Those would be girl cars here. RX7-RX8 would be a guy's car here (ratio is about 95% male 5% female). So who cares what people say, just enjoy whatever car you drive.

For one thing I drive a f350 4x4 diesel and most girls don't like it at all (my work truck thats covered in mud half the time) . But my celica wow, they love that car. The truck drives way smoother on the highway, u sit higher up and can see the whole road, is a hell of alot safer, but I guess chicks don't like to drive 4x4s. Plus I've been told its hard to get out of my truck with high heels. Its lifted but personally I find it easier to jump out of the truck than to unfold my legs and get out of my celica.

Honestly though I see more women drive celicas than guys. I felt so bad for this one celica gts....u should of seen the hepher driving it. This chick must of weighed 220 or more. and of course the rear bumper was smashed prolly from reversing into a pole or something stupid. Poor car :(

Not necessarily. I know just as many girls that drive manuals as I do automatics. The only ones with automatics are the ones with 4-door cars; the other girls, driving Celicas, Miatas, Mustangs, etc., all drive manuals.
