Something weird happened to me today, while driving on an icy road, I step on the brake pedal and it shaked like hell!! I have ABS by the way.. Is this a normal thing because of the icy road? Got me scared and didn't fell that responsive...

That's ABS.
ABS usually does not engage unless it's in a last resort situation. Normally when you slam on your brakes in an emergency there's a tendency to lock up your wheels because your tires no longer have traction with the road.
What ABS does is that instead of sending huge (locking) clamping action it turns it into multiple clamps to reduce the chances of wheel lockup and maintains the multiple clamping actions and tries to allow the tires to regain traction with the road.
The vibrations you feel on your brake pedal is the ABS at work...which happens a lot more in lower traction environments.

Puff! Thanks man. My previous car didn't have ABS so didn't know about this. Yeah, got me scared, thought the brakes were failing on me, but, you know what? Now that you have enlightened me, and I think about it, it was a good thing, the brake pedal shaked a lot, but the the car did not lose control on the icy road with me slamming on the brakes.... I betcha with my previous ride I would be sliding into a neighbor's house! Lol.
Thanks a lot man for the explanation
