After seeing how nice gunmetal looks in Spectra Blue, I'm considering getting my wheels painted that color. What process, how durable the paint, how long after my wheels are painted can I install them...? Any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated;).

Powder-coat them, not paint. It will last a lot longer.

I like 'em too, but in the sun, depending on the angle they look white. I'd like something alittle darker:).

I checked but it's been 3 years. at the time it was $75 per wheel w/ a 3 day turnaround. The place is in Cali, read about it in Sport Compact (years ago) but I can't remember the name.
Since you are on the west coast shouldn't be hard to find.
The most for my wheels was gonna be $125 ea. since they were going to strip the chrome off, repair 2, then powdercoat them.
Sorry I can't provide the name.

Anyone know any good places here in San Diego to get them powdercoated?
