Hey guys, I will be meeting up with Fiber Images to discuss possible pieces for the 00-up Celica. Le-Toy Motorsport needs your help in what showing demand for these items. Here are the possible pieces that will be made:
Full dash kit (not stick-on)
Guage Trim
Fuel Door
If you guys have any other suggestions, please let us know. Thanks.

Yep I was but interest wasnt too high on the board. The deal was if I got 20 people to pre buy then they would make it.
The mold costs alot to make 1200. The company I was going though didnt want to risk it if the covers didnt sell.
The company did make some bad ass covers for the wrx. I just want someone to make them thats quality. Hopefully fiberimages will want to pic up this project.

I'm up for all 3. The more carbon fiber, the better IMO.

Raised Hood Scoops in Carbon Fiber, and Gauge Cluster overlays. Also I would like to see full replacement dashes, or at least the shiftboot plastic piece.

center console with cuts for the S-AFC where the ash tray is, and a "flat spot" for gauges instead of the little box thing.

That would be interesting. Im going to get a WRX Gauge pod and mold it to the top part of the dash at an angle hopefully that will look awesome.

I know a because of the past post about these pieces that you guys are loosing faith. I will try my best to get these pieces made. If it doesn't happen it won't be because of lack of trying, it will be because of lack of responce and interest from customers like you guys. Help me help everyone who want these pieces and respond with your interest in these products. Thanks.

Those aren't real carbon fiber so probably not :( The "weave" on the factory cf don't even line up or meet too well anyways.

a CF hatch would be awesome :)
put that and some lexan or plexiglass windows on there
and youd have yourself some weight reduction
then all wed need is an acid dipped frame and wed be ready to rock.

let's see, hatch would be dope, never understood why we wanna take weight off the FRONT wheels. use to be interested in the C/F console pieces, til nobody produced, and I did a one off fiberglass piece (still being done), ditto for the gauge surround. I would like to see C/F door sills, door panels would be PHAT but prob. a little expensive, valve cover/engine plastics...amongst other things

GT-S valve cover/ center console
MOST IMPORTANTLY........
A REAR BUMPER DIFFUSER THAT CAN BE USED W/ FACTORY REAR BUMPER INCORPORATING A "CENTER- EXIT" EXHAUST.
KINDA LIKE THE REAR OF THE "K-2" KIT..

what about engine interiour parts in carbon fiber? shift knob, door handles, climate-control buttons, hand-brake, full interiour driver/passenger door replacement (the plastic must go away) also for the backseats, the backhatch panel (the thingy that goes up if you pop your backhatch open)
etc, etc, etc....

This started out being a very promising thread, but like most of these threads, they go nowhere fast and usually get little to nothing accomplished.

I'm really sorry guys for not keeping you guys updated. We have been trying to meet up but he has been really busy with a whole lot of shows. The owner is really the only one I want to talk to. I will really be pushing for taking the trip down there and getting this going. All your replies have been very helpful. The more post I have to show him the better. I've also been really busy at the shop. Our dyno will be operational very soon. I hope you guys understand and I hope you guys keep up faith in this project. Thanks.

Richard, I appreciate your time and effort you have probably put into this. And again, I think cf hoodscoops would sell pretty well if you could get them for a good price. And I think you could sell maybe 5 - 10 cf hatches for those hardcore types. Good luck.

heh...i wish you luck on with FI. ive had my small project there ( carbon fiber WW lip) there for half a year already. they have my mold and my money and they want me to to a GB to even get it going. their customer service is as close to dull IMO. BTW if you can get the rear hatch going try to get the fenders as well...id be all over it since im a CF freak and anything for weight reduction..lol
