I was doing 90mph on a really sharp turn.. I started drifting, almost dropped into 100ft. Drop. Luckily I didn't. I only wrecked the bumper and blew my left front tire.

I'm just curious what 'mountains' this was in.
Also you definitely dont need to go 90mph to beat a Mustang in the canyons. Soooomebody doesn't know how to drive their car.

Uhm, you can drift in a FWD car. It's call the E-Brake.
Obviously it doesn't last as long, but a skilled driver can do it properly.

I never take the Supra up there. It would get its ass handed to it by nearly everything(Bald front tires). Last couple times I've been up there were either in the Rx8 or my mothers M-Coupe.

Drift in a FWD? Yes... it's possible. I did it in the Auto GTS. Listen, you can drift with any car, some are more easier than others of course. Rent some videos of the drift king. He shows you how to do it and what's required for each of the different types of cars.

True.
I doubt the topic creator was intentionally drifting, or so I'd hope. He might have just taken a turn so fast that the rear began sliding. That's happened to me a few times. Still, hardly a drift but I can see where the confusion may arise.
