View Full Version : Im New At This Stuff...
ok i just went to the body shop that i sent my kaminari kit to and they had the kit out and i picked it up, its very lite and its black and made of what feels like rubber, and if you knock on it with your knuckles it doesnt even make a noise felt kind of cheap to me but its urethene, is it suppose to feel like that?
Im guessing when you paint it, it might feel right...

Yup, polyurethane bumpers are flexible, while fiberglass are rigid. Polyurethane is better since it won't crack if you get hit or bottom out. Our stock bumpers are made of the same stuff.

like he said... it's the smarter way to go...especially after you bottom out a couple times... my friend only buys glass because he's an idiot...and... after a month or so...is going back to the shop to get it fixed...except the last time i witnessed it just basically explode... unfortunatly...the kam sides and rear are glass...but they aren't too much of an issue like the nose is... you'll be happy i promise...
yub i got kaminari .. it's like that..
the sides and back are made just like the nose cash money so isnt it urethene too?

hmm... unless they changed the whole kit to urethane now... i dunno... i know i waited to get the urethane nose... my sides and rear are glass... if they did... thats even better for ya... maybe they already sealed or primed your kit by time you saw it... i dunno.. i'm at a loss here... just ask the shop what it is... but like i said...if it's all urethane... better for you...

eurethane costs more.. more durable.... although if it rips, u cant fix that.... but its very durable... just know that u cant abuse it either way. have fun man. :gap:
