I figured I would just ask them due to hearing rumor and this is what was said.

"Hello I am just curious if GReddy is in the works on making a Turbo kit for the 2000+ Celica GT or GT-S? I am sure this question has been asked plenty of times just wanted to ask myself due to lots of rumors."

Thanks,
Josh Jackson

"Thanks for your interest in GReddy Products. Currently I have not heard of any plans to make a turbo kit yet. As a street legal kit may be very difficult to make, because of the location of the catalytic converter and the tight engine compartment. But we are still looking the car over and decide to make one later. Please keep in touch with your favorite Authorized GReddy dealer for
more updates. http://greddy.com/dealers/"

Yeah, everyone with a Celica who's emailed them has been getting the exact same reply for the past two years.

atleast what they are saying is true.. due to the location of the CAT a street legal kit would be incredibly hard to make and the exhaust manifold is packed in there so damned close to the firewall.. well Toyota didnt build the Celica to be turbo'd.. we shall put it that way

but if it was meant for n/a, WHY THE WEIRD CAM DESIGN. yes, we were all impressed by the complexity, now please TRD come out of the woodwork and give us some cams and a higher rev limiter :(

Actually Larry... My friends got an RSX and I went fooling under the engine with it... it has the same amount of space as the celica does. Me and David spent about 30 minutes checking it out and there is enough space in there. Street Legal I dont know but half of us arent street legal anyways. I think its just another excuse. Oh yeah... Welcome to the year 2000!

oh i could actually give a crap less bout street legal but I know big companies like Greddy would most likely need their kit to be to sell it
