I wanted to put a 4-6" LCD monitor /w a PS2 into my car with an aftermarket deck, but how would I be able to run the PS2 sound on the car audio system? My deck has no audio inputs, just pre-outs.

FM modulator (sp) for the audio out from PS2? Headphone output from PS2 to tape deck converter (old style of getting discman sound into tape deck equiped car)?
There has got to be a better way. I am interested to find out. Post if you find a good way.

The sound is from the FM modulator when you turn to the station that is selected for it. Or you can cheap ass it and run your audio of your PS2 to the audio input on the monitor and if that has a headphone jack, listen there. Thats ghetto though.:D

FM modulated but for better sound choose a high-end kenwood, pioneer, alpine or any other radios with audio inputs. You'll know if they do when you press source and they say aux. inputs... otherwise, thats it...

You already said you're using an aftermarket deck, so this isn't going to help you.
But, if you have the stock deck, you can get an adapter from Blitzsafe that plugs into the CD Changer port that adds aux-in.

Dont get an FM modulator.. you wont be impressed at all... took me $50 to figure that out.. anyway Fourgig and I both researched this and both got a connector from Blitzsafe that allows you to connect lin-inputs (RCA) to your CD changer plug in the back of the stereo. Heres what you need to do. go to blitzsafe.com find their number... call them up and tell them you have a celica with premium sound system they'll ask you for the number off the front of the stereo, give it to them. and then they'll tell you the part number i think its TOYOAUX b1 or something like that. Heres the monkey wrench... the thing costs the dealer $50 (they thought i was a dealer in the beg.) but if you buy it direct from them it'll cost you $100... I got the list of dealers in my area from their site, then called one of them up and told him that they can get this for $50 and they wanted to charge me $100 and that I'd offer him $65 for it all he has to do is make the call. He said no problem. i got the part three days later. Sound quality is ENORMOUSLY better... it really really is. all you have to do to activate it is press the cd button to toggle between the 'changer' and the front player.
