What brands would you guys recommend on coilovers that you've had experience with. And where did you get them or where's the cheapest spot to find them. Thanks in advance.

If you do a search there are plenty of coilover topics. But I'll try and shoot you some helpful info. OK --- before I get started I have no personal experience with coilovers, but from about a months worth of research I can tell you what I have read and absorbed. First off --- coilovers are available in a couple different styles. You have your slip on deals --- Ground control, skunk2, and various other companies. These are the cheapest way to go --- BUT probably the more Expensive in the long run. The ride is rough and the stock shocks get banged up. After a while you will have to purchase a new set of shocks (probably adjustable dampening, and most likely new collars to fit your new shocks. Companies like Ground Control and SKunk 2 --- prices around 400 and 320 respectively. Shocks vary.
I personally feel that a FULL coilover setup is the best way to go. There are plenty of companies that make a full coilover setup --- TEIN, Hotchkis, Tanabe. This setup comes with adjustable shocks and coilovers all as 1 piece. They are setup lower(shocks are shortened) and you'll probably never have to replace shocks. Prices vary from 1100 to 2500 (roundabout). A steep price but quality products. It's your choice. I have posted on this subject a lot in the past 2-3 weeks more detailed --- search around

Hotchkis has to make the best suspention out there for the Celica. The reccomended ride height for a Hotchkiss coilover Celica is 2" lower than stock, which is a popular height from an appearance point of veiw. Plus, and more importantly, Hotchkiss tested their Celica and got extreamly impressive results. They pulled a 1.04 G skid pad and ran a 76.??? mph slolam speed. It will be really hard for any aftermarket company to beat those results.

Anyone have any experience with GC's destroying stock shocks? I am about to pick up a set of them and suddenly I am getting nervous about it.

In about few months GCC will destroy your oem and shocks and you will be able to feel almost every little bump on the road.

Tein HAs or TRD sportivo kit is the way to go... i heard GC messes up your stock shocks pretty quick...

I got TRD springs and i only had them for like 8months...my car feels most of bumps on the road already...so go figure....
