FYI: My celica, does not go to the track. I'm not looking to turn it into a race car, just adding a few mods here and their and thats it.

I am looking for some springs to lower my car, I have an 05 celica gts. What would you recommenced?

+1
those would be an ideal setup for someone who doesn't want to go too low

ive heard people run their s techs on stock shocks for about a year before blowing them, dont quote me on that...
i suggest you just save up for shocks and switch them both out at the same time

Buy new shocks and do it all at once. If you get new shocks get KYB AGXs or Konis.

Most people will blow their stock shocks on S Techs in less than a year but a small percentage of people don't. Not worth the risk seeing as it takes no additional time if you're installing springs anyway.

Check the spring rate database, look for a spring with a medium drop and a low spring rate. A higher spring rate means the springs will be more stiff. FWIW: I have Tien h-tech springs, they are specifically designed to provide a modest drop (about 1.25") while mainaining a degree of comfort.

Tanabe GF210 (http://www.tanabe-usa.com/springs/gf210.asp) 's 1.5 all around. As for shocks it all depends on road conditions and driving style.
