I am looking to do a few minor mods. to my car and i figured i want to start off with the lighting.. I browsed around the forum at different items and peoples set-ups but yet have found what i'm looking for.

I need some help finding some nice fog light bulbs just replacement bulbs to fit in the stock fog lights and low/high beam bulbs. I think I want to go H.I.D for low beam but am unsure as of right now..

Can anyone help me out with suggestions and/or links to websites would be great and highly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Dooly at LEDmod.com has some good HID kits, and he's a great seller with good fast customer service and can pretty much answer any question about HID or LED lighting.

PIAA makes good bulbs and there's also a write up on here somewhere about a new bulb from Philips called, I think, the X-Treme Power.

The best I ever had were from a company called Luminics. The bulbs were called Ultraviolet and looked exactly like a 5000 K hid bulb, They had a brilliant white output with a slight blue/purple and lit up the road very nicely.

I have Eurolites in my low beams and silverstars in my highs right now and they're okay, but they are just temporary until the nice weather comes back and I can put in my HIDs I got out of and Austin Martin V8 Vantage and my highs and the custom fogs I made will prolly get some PIAA yellows

i was looking at the PIAA bulbs and just didn't know exactly which ones to get. I was thinking of a 8000k low beams w/ PIAA white fog light bulbs.. does this sound like a nice look?

The 8000k will look like a really cool blue/purple when looking at the headlights from outside the car, but when driving will make the road look dark. Rule of thumb, don't go over 5500k. The higher you go the less visible light they put out, making the road look dark. PIAA Xtreme white or Plasmas would be a good choice for the fogs.

i always liked the way yellow fog lights looked so imma suggest you try NOKYA hyper yellow on those, and for headlights if you just want bulbs try thr phillips x-treme power or the osram silverstars, but every one now is opting for h.i.d's since there not so expensive anymore, look at hidworld.com they have nice pics showing the diiference between the colors then buy from Dooly

I recommend dooly's 8000k for low beams. I have them on my car, from a distance they look like a nice blue. When driving, it emits a crystal white/blue light. Much better visibility than halogens. Looks awesome. I've also driven by 5 cops, and have not been pulled over

I just replaced my headlight with Philips X-treme bulb (I had OSRAM before) w/ Hella H3 yellowstar fog..Avoid ricer bulb I don't care if its JDM or just some cheap blue/purple bulbs (PIAA, Silverstar etc..), Its not worth it. Go with OEM replacement/brand. Philips or OSRAM. Or avoid all this and get HID =).

www.rallylights.com for the FOG H3 or the H7 Osram.

Yes vmaegodoy, the fog lights are just changing out the bulbs.. Unless you wanna go H.I.D.

John, thanks for the advice. I am going with 6000k low beams and philips x-treme for the fog lights.. Going to place a order today! Does anyone know the best place to buy these? Rally lights will not load for me. I think there website is down.

I don't think you can get the Philips X-treme from anywhere in the USA. I got mine from here: www.autolamps-online.com

This is where Blue Bomber recommended to get them from in his review of these bulbs. I still haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but I've heard from several that they're really nice bulbs.
