I know someone that will sell me a brand new set of four (front R-L and x2-rear) KYB GR-2 for $235, worth it or not?

i have them, ended up paying 400 for the set. excellent choice for daily driving. i heard that the TRD shocks are the same as the GR-2's so you can't go wrong with that!

wrong. gr-2's are stock replacements... no better performance, really.

actually i have also heard that TRD just rebadged the GR-2 shocks, and one of the eibach springs are also rebadged by TRD.

Wrong. GR-2 is a little upgrade from stock replacement.

I just bought them, I ended up paying $225 after shipping so it was actually cheaper then I thought, now I just have to buy the Sportlines and I can install it all!

honestly, EBAY, I triple checked on everything to make sure they were brand new and that they were actually the GR-2's for the 7th gen celica and they were.

My brother lives right by the Walker Art center. He knows a lot about celica suspension crap too. He sometimes posts here as Esper.

Yes, it's a good deal.

How long do you think these would last with a 2" drop?

i doubt the GR-2's will last very long with a 2" drop, i think they were designed to take a drop between 1.25-1.5"
