Any celica's in MN?

I'm in Minneapolis/St.Paul, MN this weekend to visit my sister, her new boyfriend, my brother, his sister n law, plus my 2 nephews... So far, I've seen 2 celica's.. and they were both silver.. stock.

Just curious.. I monstly see a lot of Poniac's.

I got a Silver Celica 2002 GTS with 18"s and 2 inch drop, 5zigen Exhaust, cold air intake, clifford alarm. That's about it.

I m from Minneapolis.

Damn.. I was there this past weekend.. saw 3 celica's total.. all stock.. 2 silver ones, and 1 white one.

I was in Minneapolis too.. not sure what part though.

I was out of town in Washington state...
I'm about the only ACTIVE Celica around here..... very seriously. Nobobody here mods their car, or does anything with it. I have just quit trying to get people to do anything.

I really have no clue. We've got one of the most active FWD Volkswagen groups in the country up here. volksport. Our ride of the month is a VW. Honda's always represent as well (of course). It just seems that we are in "trend-ville" central here. I bet you saw PLENTY of WRX's around.... I know I do... all the time.

I don't think weather has anything to do with it. I think people just lack taste here.......

Hey, you ain' t the only one modding a Celica. I got a 02 GTS 6 spd with 18" Dronell rims, Eibach Sportline, Koni yellow shocks, 5zigen exhaust, Nakayama cold air intake. So, you ain't the only true Celi enthusiast up in MN.

uh, I wasnt' being cocky.... WTF? I have posted on this board FOREVER... telling people BEGGING PEOPLE TO DO SOMETHING. I have been in contact with other "enthusiasts"


DO A SEARCH FOR MINNESOTA in all threads and see what I mean. If they didn't do a database clean you'd see that I've been trying to get Celica "enthusiasts" to come to our meets and get togethers for the past 2 years almost......

When I read your post I just said huh? why would you take it that way? I'm not being cocky, if anything I'm daring others to show up, cuz quite frankly the people I've ever talked to either just don't care or tell me "yeah I'll be there" and never are.

PM a user on here named Hooby, and ask him how long I've been trying to get Celica's at meets and just to show up at a COMPETITION. ....... He'll be able to let you know how frustrated I am.

I'm up here. I'm a member of Minnesota Sport Compacts and it is the sh!t. Just joined about a month ago. I've only had my celica for a little over o month and a half but I think it's coming along nicley. Gts24 I'll see you at the next BBQ.

Oh my bad. Well, I will be down at Midway every Saturday night by White Castle around 9:00 pm to 11:30 pm. You should know Midway if you live in MN. University Ave in St.Paul.
