Does the air in ur car SMELL??

I dunno.... every time i turn on the A/C, the air STINKS... i bought a can of that air deororizer crap and its gotten better... but b4.. holy $hit... it has the smell after it rains.... dunno how to describe the smell... it just stinks!!!

there's supposed to be a way to prevent this. doesn't it happen from condensation and stuff in the pipes and a moldy kinda thing. i donno. i thought something like if you turn the ac off and put it on outside vent before turning off the car its supposed to prevent it. at least i know people who do this. i don't know if actually really helps so i don't bother.

kinda off-topic from this.. but i was driving home on friday and i was going up this freeway where theres cows on the sides.

well my windows was down and i had my ac to the vent(far right) with the knob off and on heat(you know the air like goes through when your moving?). well i start smelling this odor and i was like.. "ok, not too bad" so i just left the windows down and the vents open. then like 3 minutes later i passed the cows(i thought i passed it the other time) and damn did it smell. i almost threw up from it so i close the window and whoops, i forgot about the vents.

so here i am, with the windows up and the vent open and my car just continues to be filled with hot air with the smell of cows and feces. i almost lost control of the car cuz of that smell... it was so damn disgusting

It's from condensation... there is spaces in vent inside of dash.. where water is collected( there is hole to drain out) but sometime when you park your car in hill... it tends to stay as start decomposing(?)... it doesn't have to be on hill too..
I've talked to a person from service department... but there isn't anyway to get rid of it.... or two way to temporally... there is a can of spary to get rid of the smell.... or open up the dash and clean it out... either way works for short time...
Just leave your windows open for couple min till the smell goes away.... once the air gets cold the smell goes away.....

one time i fergot i left a wet tshirt in my tennis bag...and i left that bag in the car.....now my AC stinks when i first turn it on
