This is a question regarding lift. Is it possible to have weaker lift due to oil pressure being low?
I changed my oil but I only put in 4 quarts instead of 4.5.
But I check the dipstick, it is in the middle of the two dots indicating full!
Is the oil pressure referring to the engine oil?

I believe the only time your oil pressure is effected by volume is when there is not enough to pump, other wise the pressure remains constant. Yes, oil pressure is referring to engine oil.

Not weaker lift no. You will either have variable lift or you won't.
You aren't using low octane gas are ya?

Probably the belt tensioner. Mine is doing that.
