OK I am very new to tires, and so I need some help on getting daily street driving in rain and summer replacement tires for my stock GT alloy 15" wheels. I am looking for tires that are kinda like low profile (I don't want a big wall like on the stock tires or a wall that sticks out beyond the wheels too much, and I know if I do this it will have a bigger wheel gap). There are 3 numbers for tires, for example 195/60/15. If the first number is small, such as 195 compared to 205, does that mean it's a lower profile, or is it the other way? Also it probably depends on the ratio, the middle number, so like a 60 would be bigger than a 50.

So what is a good size tire for daily driving in wet and dry streets, in kinda low profile tires (such as having a flat side wall, without sticking out too much?)?

Also, I have some tire models in mind I would like, and they are the following: Bridgestone potenza S-03 Pole, Dunlop SP sport 9000, Bridgestone Potenza RE730, Dunlop SP sport FM901.
Which one of these would be best?

Thanks a whole lot people.

The first number is the width of the tire in mm.

The second is an aspect ratio...100 * sidewall height / section width.

KSilver: I just replaced my wheels with some new rims, and have some tires for the 15" wheels that have over 90% (closer to 95%) tread on them (on car about 5 months), they aren't on the list of what you're looking for, but they are pretty good all weather tires if you're looking for a bargain. The brand is DELTA and I'd let them go for under 200 total plus shipping. PM me if you're interested.
