As the title says...
also it would be very helpful if anyone would post pics of that kind of drop with 17" rims.
Thanks

Tein springs drop from 1.5 or 1.4 inch. Eibach sportline 1.8-2.25rear. Try the sportline they look good on 18s you'll have about gap of 0.5inch between the tire and the fender. But remember lowering your car will or mess up your shocks maybe in a year or so. I would replace it with a new shocks at the same time. But it's up to you.....Goodluck...

Search suspension items in the parts catalog up top.

I did search on the "spring rates" thread... and there seems to be nothing that gives that kind of drop... am I right to say that there arent any springs that give between 1.6 to 1.8 inches of drop?

and one other question... is it better to have progressive springs?

tein are not low enough I think and eibach sportlines are too low... is there something in between?

If you want that low profile look go with sportline.Oh wait now I remember someone here installed a skunk 2 springs last month I can't remember his screen name. He has a silver celica and it's lowered 1.8 or something. Just search skunk 2 lowering springs?

Your information is absolutely correct. Are your shocks stock or aftermarket? I just heard that if you go lower than 2.20 inches can blow your shocks.

I have Skunk2 springs and they are 2.25" front drop and 2.5" rear drop. Try the Hotchkis springs. The are about the same drop as the Teins up front but lower in the back.

Weren't you the guy that posted the silver celica with the trd kit on the car? Cause if you are, the height of your car looks perfect. I just receive me a cheap lowering springs called Drop zone cost like $80 LMAO... :gap: The ride height is around 2.0F and 2.4R. I hope will look good. But I hope it won't void the warranty on my car. By the way how's your car?
