I have the ebay headlight (black housing)

is it a bad idea for me to upgrade to HID headlights with the housings? I dont know much about it but i heard about a bad projector (cheap) and whatnot. I dont know how that all factors into the light output and how good it will look but if i can do it and it will look good i think im going to go for it.

next question.. if i upgrade to hID headlights what do i do about my highbeams or is that included? (im pretty sure its a seperate bulb right) I maybe wrong.... or do people just not bother with them? and the FOGS? do you usually get cheaper bulbs for the fogs or go HID as well because that seems alittle pricey, but i want yellow fogs to go with the white headlight.

I dont know how that all factors into the light output and how good it will look but if i can do it and it will look good i think im going to go for it. the low/hi beam is separate so the low beam is an h7, get that in the hid only since our hi beam is a drl its not recomemded getting that in a hid, and for the yellow fog try the nokya hyper yellow, ive have them in my low beam (cops hate them so i had to take them off) and in my hi beam (the drl looks really yellow and at nite it owns my hid low beam), ive never had a reliability issue with them

do you still have one of the oem headlights? if you do just put one on to compare to the other, the oem will disperce the light alot better.

our low beam is an h7 and hi beam is 9005, so yes there separate, its not recomemded that you get the 9005 in an hid because of the drl, so just get the h7 in hid and the ebay headlights hold the hid bulb better than the oem ones because of the lil wire clip in the back is shaped better, ive had nokya hyper yellow in my low/hi beams and havent had a problem (i now have hid in low because cops hated the yellow low beam) id suddest them for the h3 fog light bulb

no i do not have the OEM anymore, i sold them when i got the new housings.

Ill look into a H7 HID kit and im going to replace the fogs when i replace the bumpers..

I currently have the Euro Designz in the low and fog light.. they look cool but the visibility is garbage.

Here's what I found on ebay, I'm assuming these are the same ones.

They say they come with new Xenon bulbs. Does that pose any risk of overdoing the stock wiring. Also, does anybody know if I can just put my stock bulbs in there instead? Thanks.

If you notice poor output in your projector lenses (H7 HID) in the new black housing headlights you can swap them for the OEM projectors pretty easily. The H3 and 9005 bulbs are separate and you can use the same bulb you have for your OEM lights to fit in the new ebay headlights. I actually have 2 headlights (left and right) that don't have outer covers but I could part out the lenses if you want to buy them and swap.

You can also find yellow fog bulbs on ebay for cheap. Personally when I get the money I'm going to get HID fogs in yellow. I bought some cheap yellow bulbs on ebay and they either burn out in a week or they don't even shine 5 ft in front of my car.

Your stock wiring should be fine just so long as they are the same wattage as stock halogen bulbs. If they are higher, more than likely, you will burn your wiring and that's expensive to replace. With HID kits the ballast actually corrects the power difference so that the HID bulb puts out a higher amount of light at a lower wattage.
