Price with shipping - $26
Overall was a very good buy, but you gotta know what your doing when cutting into your interior plastic, the finish(chrome) looked great but i hit it with some 800 gritt sand paper for the brushed look, then put a sticker on it. Overall install took an hour and im very please on how it turned out :hitit:

Where's the review?
I doubt this increases the rigidity compared to a TRD rear bar, but nonetheless, it looks good.

Same mounting point as the TRD I have except for that third point.
Not too shabby for under $30.
I would buy one if I didn't already have one.
Make a guide on how you get the plastics and how you've covered it up so well with that rubber ring.

Looks nice Tommy. Looks kinda like a Tanabe strut bar. I might just get one too.

so wait... no backseats with this? How close does it come to the seats? Is there enough clearance for amps to be mounted on te back seats?

I think you can still use the seats.

I'm very intersted in how you got the holes in the panels so clean. I have a rstb in my living room that I've had for a few months waiting to go on.

did you paint your interior black....? Because its definately noticeable. You should try doing it again but with a actualy paint spray gun for even coats. As for the bar, you get what you pay for, looks good for the money.

It's better than nothing but those kind of bars put all of the stress on the bolts so they're not that rigid.
You can still use the rear seats, right? Just like with the TRD rear bar?
Tempting. I could dry my clothes on them. :chuckles:

Does that eliminate the seats? That's sucks if it does.

I might have misinterpreted his post, but from the pictures, it doesn't look like the seats will be a problem.

the back seats are still 100% funtional, and its cool cause I drove to a national park, parked trunk first towards the water, put a small pillow on the bar and leaned on it (like a lay-z-boy recliner) while just relaxing so it's there for something :chuckles:

It's not a rubber ring, its door edge automotive trim. Makes for a very clean install. Props man, it looks good. Should see a huge improvement in steering and only $26!
For clean cutting, I recommend using a box cutter. Saw the plastics on the ground.

Did you run out of apint on the rear plastics?
fastcelicagt22

Looks like spray paint work. That happens when the propellent gets too cold and sprays out the can with the paint. Realy need to use a spray gun to make it perfect. Not a bad job for spray can work.
