OKAY! I just spent all afternoon hooking up my Viper 5900. Comes with remote start but I decided not to do it (yet) as it looks very complicated.

Anyways so this is like a basic alarm system setup. Have everything hook up and well till I noticed I didn't have the siren plugged in.

Started searching for where to put it but it's crazy packed underneath the hood!

So my question is, where should I place the siren, and how do I route the wires to go into the cabin to be connected to the alarm system?

Any suggestion is welcomed!

I currently have the siren inside my glovebox, hahah!

So my question is, where should I place the siren, and how do I route the wires to go into the cabin to be connected to the alarm system? You should find space in the driver's front left fender around where the HID box would go. You can route the wires through the grommet for the hood release cable (they do need to go to the Alarm ECU). Depending on siren size, you might also be able to get it on the firewall somewhere.

Ooh shoot I didn't look at that grommet, haha, that does sound easier.

Is there some sort of technique to get the wire through there? Or is there plenty of space for it to wiggle through?

just cut the spare nipple off and shove it through;)

Ouch, shaving the nipple off, hahah!

Would that lead to water leaking in problems later on?

It shouldn't.
