i have both "gold class wax" and "Cleaner Wax" by Meguiar's. I was wondering if thier is any point at all to put the gold class wax over a coat of Cleaner Wax? if so is it harmfull, will it make how much of a difference, and how long to wait after the coat of cleaner wax do i do the gold class? if not PLEASE TELL ME!

thanks

you can use them in conjunction. The cleaner/wax does what it says, it cleans while it waxes. The Gold Class is just a wax. Nothing wrong with that, your shine will be brought out with the gold class.

you can use them like said in previous posts. I have in past experiences used wax to "build up" the shine. You can take a coat of the cleaner wax, rub it into your finish, letting it dry to a haze. For that, i would give it at least two hours, not in direct sunlight. Then come back with the gold class and run it right over the cleaner wax that has hazed up. Rub it just as you would normally, then buff off both layers as you would normally. It will take quite a bit more elbow grease, but the finished product is excellent. Richard Griot said that he once layed 6 layers of wax on a show car with his best of show wax, letting each coat dry 6 hours before applying the next coat. He said it makes the finish look "deep" and i agree even though ive only done it with two coats. Im going to take my car down to clear and then lay down two coats of the griots carnuba wax, and then buff. It makes my moms white chevy look good, so my spec blue should be fantastic.
Hope it helps you out
