Does anyone know where i can find Black Toyota and GT badges or anyone that's good at making them. I'd be more than happy to ship my failed attempt at making the badges if someone knows how to do it right.
Couldn't you just sand them down and paint them black?

i tried that and they came out all messed up. Not only that but it only lasted a few days until one got chipped

Thats a good idea to make a black badge. You should be able to paint it, you just have to do it right

Ive done this, easiest way is to sand down with 400, primer it 2/3 times, sand it down again with 1200 then spray on 4/5 coat of black. remember when you spray it to start the spray before it hits the badge that way you get clean application
also you could laquer the badge 2/3 times if you wannt

:werd: I think the key is the primer and lacquer. I painted mine about a year ago (no primer), and the edges have been starting to chip.

Ive had mine on my car for almost a year now and still looks like brand new! It even takes a beating from the jet wash tahts used to wash my car and hasnt chipped at all!
So make sure u primmer and laquer....i must say though when i did it Flat black i though it looked ACE!

Ebay for Toyota emblems. GT-S badge will have to be painted yourself...
Self etching primer is the key, a good cleaning with rubbing alcohol, a little scuff from a scotch brite pad, a can of trim black and your good to go.
