Mustang GT, to be or not to be?

I was traveling 90mph on Saturday, Thanksgiving Holiday. The freeway was clear and I decide to slow down when all of a sudden, Mustang GT 5.0, pulls in front of me and slowing me down. It was the same Mustang that I passed a couple of miles back. We both were on the 2nd lane. Me and my wife don't like it when some guy in a Mustang thinks his car is all that. At this time I was traveling 70mph and I gunned it. He did too, and my car pulls so hard, I waved at him good bye and laughing at his face. I kept going to 140mph and he was in a distance. My exit was coming up so I took the exit while slowing down for him, he slowed down too, and when he was next to my window, I pointed at him and laugh because he just got beaten by a Family Sedan. I was in the Maxima Automatic. Should the Mustang loose to my Maxima? I'm glad that I pulled since he thinks his car is faster. Damn big head ego, hope he knows not to mess around with a family sedan next time. lol.

you knwo after rereading it, here is what i truly see.

guy in mustang 5.0 is on his way somewhere, is going 70, so he hops over to the fast lane cuz the speed limit is 55. you in your maxima get pissed off that you cant do the 80 or 90 you were doing, so you decide to be an asshole and start crawling up his ass to tailgate. when that doesnt work you get into the other lane and start laughing and pointing at the mustang owner, who is now wondering WTF is wrong with you and your wife, and you floor the gas. the mustang owner floors the gas, but then decides its not worth it to chase an idiot acting like that, cuz he's prob. drunk or on drugs or something, and he backs off. meanwhile, your head is so far stuck up your ass out of your blind hatred of a car, that you procede to more than double the speed limit and hit 140mph with your spouse in the car. you then slow down to legal speed limit thinking oh **** im glad there wasnt a cop, and the guy in the mustang eventually catches up, to turn off on hi sexit. to where you get beside him once again and start pointing and laughing at him and ridiculing him. now i ask you, who was acting like the retarded 5 year old asshole and is supposed to be a grown adult? apparently, you.

I was ahead of this guy when he decided to pass in front me, and decide to pass me. I had to slow down. To clarify things between those with mustangs, I just hate the driver who owns a mustang who thinks it's fast. I'm not saying my car is fast, it's a Family Sedan. lol.

The reason why I hate those kind of people is because I always encounter them, driving like an idiot, trying to race other people. My Maxima is stock, it doesn't say anything about Race Me, I'm free. lol.

I'm sure that kid feels more dumb after this family sedan kick his buttocks.

One more thing, I never tailgated him, I just decide to pass him and he punch it at the same time. If he wants to slow me down, he can go to my lane and slow me down, but instead he went with me racing.

Your judgement is all wrong, you didn't get my point. If I see you driving normal as I pass you, I wouldn't think of anything. But this kid, everyone's is a kid when they're racing each other, just decided to get into my lane at 90mph. Let me explain this again, I slowed down, at this point we're on the 2nd lane. I wasn't tailgating him. I floored it when I switch to the first lane (fast lane) then he decide to do the same.

If it takes beating a Mustang 5.0 with your Maxima to provide happiness for you and your wife..something is definitely wrong.
It seems to me that you are the one that is cocky and insecure. I have raced/won/loss to Mustangs of all kinds..but I don't laugh at them. I give a thumbs up no matter what the outcome. No need to make an ass of yourself.

That's pretty harsh wording bashing on him and his wife. If they want to risk their lives on an empty freeway going 140, that's his deal. nope, I never have topped my car out before...there isn't a point to it. the limiter is at 112mph, speedo indicated 117. why bother? no point in racing someone that fast anyway..if i haven't beaten them by 90, then there isn't a point to continuing.

let me reiterate this has nothing to do with a mustang. the mustang in his topic subject is what got me interested in the thread. then i saw his behavior and THAT is what im replying to. with a 222hp maxima, i can see it taking out an old 5.0 on the top end, that isn't my argument. my argument is him putting his wife and potentially others at risk on a holiday like that and then acting immature towards the other driver who chose to get to his home or family the safer way. to me this wasnt a race anyways, all it was was an out of control ego on a freeway without common sense.

and think of it this way....what if he had crashed at 140? how many of us would learn abot it, and put up our condolances, and feel it was such a tragedy? and le tme ask you this...say you were the mustang driver, pinto driver, celica driver whatever, on your way home to meet your family on thanksgiving, when some guy in a maxima does all this **** to you? you then see him doing 140 on a public freeway that your own kids and wife travel on everyday. what would happen if he hit them? how angry would you be?

LOL, yes, there are people in each category of class who thinks their car is faster than the rest of the world. Just like if I see a lowered Civic and he looks at me while I drive the Maxima and he thinks he's all of sudden faster than I? lol. But at least a Civic I can beat, but the only reason I share this mustang story is because I know I'm suppose to get my ass handed to me. But I guess I didn't know that I could win until that day.

And damn I didn't know my Maxima can go that fast. That was the first. Once speed goes, I just keep going, and of course he isn't racing anymore since I already passed him. But thanks for the argument, it's a real pleasure reading.

first off, where in the bay area did this take place?......there are very few locations in the bay area to get up to 140mph..especially in a 200+ hp car.....it would take like 40 seconds to get to that speed......take into account of traffic,police,etc and it becomes more unlikely.....not saying you didn't but it would have to be very late at night/early morning and on only certain fwy's in the bay area....

..you could always try my Sho or Mustang if you are feeling racy....let me know

Because a Mustang owner laughed at me, so I learned to laugh at them from now on whenever they get beaten by my slow ass. lol. Basically, I already returned the favor. lol.
