L.E.D.s and Audi

ok. so, i replaced my side marker and parking light bulbs with blue LEDs. in PA, that would be illegal. i've only gotten in trouble for them twice, and they were both just warnings. i pulled out the side markers just because they were the easiest to get in trouble with, as the ones inside the headlight housing are harder to see with the HID kit.

anyway, i was thinking.....you might've seen that the new Audis have LEDs on the bumpers, in the headlight housings, and even in the taillight housing. white ones, with a bluish "tint"(kinda like XENON bulbs). obviously, these aren't illegal, or Audi wouldn't be putting them in factory installed. so, does this make them LEGAL? would we be able to put them in, and NOT get in trouble? stating the case that if they were ILLEGAL, why does Audi put them in THEIR cars?!?!

You can get away in PA with HID's as long as they arent too colored but any color sidemarker other than amber i wouldnt try.

It is ILLEGAL because you have BLUE ones, while the ones from Audi uses WHITE ones.

its illegal in most maybe all states to have red or blue lights

no problems for me. I got the White leds in my side markers, drive by cops all the time.
its probably just the blue ones

stay clear of blue, dont b ricer brother, and look on ebay, v-leds.com has some nice white 194 leds for the license plate/bumper, which are also the ones for the headlight

the blues look amazing dude, but im gonna go white. i have the 194 WHITES in my license plate ones, but they're kinda dull, not real bright. any idea where i could get brighter ones?

I thought my friends GTI had white ones as well factory. I'm pretty sure you can have them.
