It is hot as hell here in Savannah, GA, and i'm coming out of food lion. I get in my car, start her up, and decide to pull through the space because putting it in reverse and looking backwards would be to much trouble :gap: ... when "THUMP" i run over the concrete parking things (i have no idea what they are called). After shouting some profanity :mad: i quickly shift into reverse and go back over, and out the parking lot and head to my apt. (i live two minutes away).

Back at my apartment i checked for damage. There isnt any damage to the body, but the underneath there is a rubberish long piece that is pretty scrapped up.

Man im kicking myself for this because there are only three parking spaces in the whole lot that have those concrete things!!

Is there anything else I should look for or might be damaged??

LOL......damn i know how u feel.....i did the same thing in the school parking lot except every parking space had the little concrete barrier...which made me feel even dumber.....

Don't feel bad, I hopped onto a concrete median separating turn lanes and straight lanes first (don't ask me why it's there). Luckily though, it was slanted and didn't scrape anything.

haha, at least im not the only one...what next mishifting and blowing my gt's engine? (knock on wood!!!) Thanks guys now i dont feel quite so bad :)

the worst is when you're all happy about "beating the system"... when you park head first into a parking spot.. then since there isnt anyone in the spot facing you, you decide to go straight... (aint pretty)... lol...

i scraped up my exhaust on one of those things at a meet.... they stuck the mofo like 5 feet out from the curb for some reason, unlike all the other parking spots there...

yep, done that too... actually someone else driving it did this, but i still get to pay for it....


wait til you get to the tire shop that drops your really low celica on a jack which rips your Kam bumper right off.... they give you some washers to hold it on and refuse to pay to fix the cracks and paint... then a month later you hit a bunny, which cracks it further... and 2 months after that you hit another damn bunny, which cracks it even more... or you hit the big piece of concrete sitting in middle of the highway that you can't dodge, which goes to put a huge scape and indention in your trd exhaust's muffler.... your 2nd gear syncro goes out, followed by the rest.... the badly run power wire going to your amp deciedes it's going to get poked by grounded metal and catch fire, filling your car with smoke and causing it to shut down, blowing half your car's fuses...

I love my car :)
