Just remove the antenna housing and order a vinyl color-matched DOT sticker from BlueBat.... that should handle the problem :)

Lots. My body shop explained that the "right" way to do this is to weld in a metal to cover the hole (prolly from the underside) then use a metal-based filler to fill the area smooth and repaint the panel. I had that panel repaired once from some vandalism and I asked about having that done.

Thats's why I left my base on. It's gonna cost an arm and a leg to get it shaved:eek:.

Sorry so late bro...
Anyway, your in Cali, so go here: www.1daypaint.com and find the nearest shop in your area... That's who shaved mine off, and I relocated it to the roof myself... they only charge like $30.00 an hour for body work... so I would assume it could be done for under $100.00
I love it, it looks alot sleeker, and allows the actual bodylines of the car to carry on... It was money well spent.
oh yeah, the way they shaved it was by welding a piece of metal to the underbody to cover the hole, filled it, sanded it, and repainted it. Looks like glass :D
Check my pics in my sig...

Do you have to put wiring through the car or what to get it on top? (the antenna)

Run the wiring up through the hatch, behind the plastic pannels on the passenger side, pull down headliner, measure to find center of roof, drill a small hole, and increase drill bits till the bolt of the antenna fits through... hook up the antenna, tape the wires to the roof so they don't rattle around, and you're done...
Took about 30 mins...
