for sale. 2000 celica gt 1zz-fe motor with crower connecting rods and CP low compression 9:1 pistons and new valve job. motor itself has 78,000 miles on it needs new piston ring set but pistons are still good. cylinder are bored out to .2 bigger. rods are still really strong.. both pistons and rods have about 10,000 miles on it. got a brand new stock motor, because i didnt have enough money to repair the piston rings and to take it to a machine shop, for as spring semester for school just started so i just need my car asap to get to school and back. im letting it go for 500 plus shipping and handling or pik up in las vegas.. pictures are not up yet for i will post them up when i get a chance.. just a heads up on who might be interested in buliding this motor when going the turbo route without having to pull out your stock motor ..

First thing that goes in the 1zz is the rods at ~250 at the wheels. You should be good with 300 bhp. He mentioned this motor is stroked to a 2.0 so that in itself is a lot of money into this engine...

he said just replace the piston rings, that not a big deal, you'll just have to replace the head gasket since it has to come off(the head)
and maybe the rob bearings wouldn't be a bad i dea since you have to take those out too

good point but the only way to realy know is if you ask his to take the head off and send you some pics, but hey , just for the head and connecting rods, thats a good price, and if you can afford to have it sleeved anyways, i would get new pistons while your at it, and for 500 bucks, thats a give away man, just sleeve that and enjoy the motor ;D
