correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure it's the rave bodykit. that's probably like the 2nd one of seen. guess it's rare, or nobody likes it. i think it's kew...

u might be right. the front does look a bit darker, altough it might just be shadows.

I think that is the spoiler that comes with the kit.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the feedback, I apperciate all the comments be they positive or negative. As for the colour issue, that has more to do with the shadows from the trees. As for the fit, it could be a hell of a lot better IMO. I would like to get a different front end in urethane but the ones currently offered dont do anything for me. With regards to the wing, that is the spoiler offered with the JSP kit, and yes, the kit is the Rave series. Anyway, keep the comments coming and I apperciate the constructive criticism. :)

Actually EbonyGT4me, I only had them installed for a very short period of time and I sold them because I didn't like the bouncy ride the GC's gave me. I almost got some Koni's or something so I could stiffen it up, but I decided that if I were going to modify my suspention I might as well go all out. Now I have a full Hotchkiss coilover setup with 2.5" inner diameter race style spring conversion. The car sits low and rides awsome, it corners like a go kart now, I love it. ;)

Here is my opinion as nicely as I can put it. I don't like any part of the kit at all, and the wing doesn't look right. Then again, it's YOUR car. I know a lot of people will see my car and not like it either. Then again, a lot of people will. Depends on your tastes. It's unique to say the least, so I have to give you props for that.

Man - I cant stand that kit - its made by JSP. Someone posted pix of it along time ago when it first came out. The rear and sides are not so bad, but the front it total yuck!

Also EbonyGT...your car is silver....Ebony=black...what gives?

Being that I'm a black dude (well half anyway, latino would be my other half) I decided to get a personalized plate with the word EBONY in it, hence my screen here, simple really :p .

As for the front bumper of my kit, I have something else planned for the very near future, I'm kinda annoyed with having a fiberglass bumper and all the issues associated with that. Its actually thanks to some of the responses here that have convinced me to make the change. Dont get me wrong, I like the front and all, but people are absolutly right when they point out that the bumper has quality issues (fit & finish). Anyway, later, and thanks for the input...NC.ORG RULES :thumbup:

You're right, the fit looks a little off, but I like the clean lines of the kit. That rear spoiler is (erm.. excuse the expression) a butt ugly, taller version, of the stock one. I'd fix the fir of the front bumper at a good body shop and change that wing.

I like that kit alot! It does suck about the fit and finish though. Car looks great IMO. What size wheels you got there?

coOOlcelica - The ride is really good. What spring rate you decide to go with is going to really affect how the ride is, you could probably make the ride feel like stock if you went with a really soft spring rate. I did a medium spring rate, and the ride is pretty good. Because the diameter of the spring is smaller, a ton of road feel is transmited to you, but it isn't like the bumps on the road are jarring or anything, you just feel them a little more. Plus they are linear instead of progressively wound, so you feel more of the really little bumps that you wouldn't really feel before, but the linear winding makes them more predictable. I really like the feel that they give you, I feel much more connected with the road. I am very pleased with them and would reccomend them to anyone. The only draw back is that the race springs IMHO is that they are expensive. I bought Hotchkis race springs and they cost $450.

EbonyGT4me - What do you plan on doing to the front end of your car? Are you going to modify the rave bumper or are you trading it in for a completely different one? I wonder what front bumpers would look good when matched with the rest of the rave kit?

don't know if you've seen the JSP celi lately, but they painted it gunmetal and threw on some new rims and a carbon fibre spoiler, and took off those awful stickers, looks 10x better than it did b4
