Mothers Clay Bar

I just bought the mothe clay bar package. It comes with a Clay Bar, Showtime Instant Detailer, and Carnauba Wax. I dont know how 2 use the clay bar, do u just slide it throught the car and wipe it off? And also the Carnauba Cleaner Wax, is it the same as reg. wax like the Gold Calss by meguiar? What is Carnauba?

Simple as that, the easy to follow directions should be enough.

that why I am asking, theres no direction on how to use the clay bar. Thers only direction for the detailer and the wax.

hmmm...don't know what to tell you since my Mother's kit came with complete instructions on a little red piece of paper.

"spray 2 ft sections at a time" just take the clay and rub it back and forth over the area" supposedly you'll 'hear'(which i didn't) the stuff coming off......after every panel..roll into ball and then flatten out.....buff excess lube stuff off....

Pretty simple, as long as you keep the surface wet with detailer and don't drop the bar on the ground it's hard to mess up.

So u just spray the detailer on a section and apply the clay bar on the surface/ Then after I wipe it off with a dry cloth? So after I finsh clay baring my car then I use the Carnauba wax to finish off the car?

It is just that simple, I'll quote myself from the other thread because I still can't figure out if everyone understands.

"the Mothers clay bar I used has good directions.

simple version:
-wash and dry the car as usual
-break the clay bar in half, store the second half in a zip-lock bag for another time (these bars are similar to silly putty)
-roll it into a ball
-flatten out into a pancake about 3" in diameter
-spray about 1 sq ft area with the quick detailer spray that came with it
-set the pancake down and slowly slide back and forth across the wet area (you will feel that it slides easier when the paint is clean
-wipe up the excess detailing spray with a clean rag
-roll clay into ball
-flatten out starting the whole process again

-if you accidentally drop the clay on the ground either throw it out and start with a new piece or use a knife to cut the contaminated pieces off"

Some people recommend washing the car again after clay barring, before polishing/waxing. But I find that it makes no difference when using over the counter products. (follow zaino's instructions for their products, I have no experience with them.)

GTSmOnKeY15- After clay barring you can polish only, wax only, or polish and wax (recommended). What ever you want. Read up on some old threads about waxing here.
