Has anyone else had a problem with these guys? I ordered an indiglo gauge from them over two weeks ago and they havn't shipped or even updated me on the status of my order. I finally had time to e-mail them today, and I am waiting to see what they have to say.

Their policy is to not charge my credit card until they ship your order, and that's great and all, but I still have an agreement with them. Two weeks and not even an update on the status?

Maybe I am just spoiled because I have never had a bad experience with shopping on the Internet. I have probably ordered stuff from over 15 different small Internet sales companies, and not once have I had a problem. It appears I finally have a problem, even though I'm sure other people have had much worse.

Should I expect more of this as I buy more stuff from these small Internet-sales companies? One time I sent in a proof of purchase to Kellogg's to get a free Frosted Flakes stopwatch and I never got it! That was like 5 years ago, but this Street Beat Customs experience ranks right up there with Kellogg's in worst mail-order service

I have an update on this situation.

I still havn't received a reply to the e-mail I sent them earlier this week. However, I just realized that Street Beat Customs has an 1-800 number. So I called their 1-800 number so I could speak to them directly. Told the guy my order number, he said he had them in stock, and said he would ship them "right now." Sounds pretty cool to me. I guess they don't concentrate on their e-business as much as they do their physical shop and phone orders. While I was typing this message I just received an e-mail from Street Beat Customs verifying they shipped my order.

So, if you ever do business with Street Beat Customs in the future I suggest you do a telephone order instead of their Yahoo Shopping thing.

Glad it worked out for you. At least we know they are responsive when pressed.
