after weeks of the installation of the lowering spring, I noticed that the rear's height slightly off compare between the left and right wheel of the fender to the tire.Cause I put my fingers to measure the gap.Is the bushing inside the strut has to do with the height? should I cut it off or trim it? or possibly one of my shock is blown up? I'll try to measure again tomorrow just to make sure. Or

well the top of the rear spring is a bit wider but I was able to fit it in by forcing it,etc....I might check it again when I have time. I was thinking of trimming the rubber bushing..

if you didn't cut the bumpstop you need to do that.

The settings for skunk2 springs are front(2.25) and rear(2.50) inches... There's a gap. Does this has to do with the strut on the top that has like an allan key should I turn that knob?http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/376/21dm7.jpg

Nope, just the springs. I used the stock bump stop like the one you see on picture with green circle on it..

Assuming the floor you are measuring on is perfectly flat it's normal to have a slight difference...stock it is not perfectly even as the weight distribution of the car is not perfect, and remember that a small difference in height shows up more when lowered than at stock height (for example a 1/4" of difference is more visible on a half inch wheel gap than a three inch one...) :monkey:

that's what I see in my car as I measured it.The rear right strut is lower than the rear left strut. The height difference is 0.25 of an inch...But then I used to have a 93 celica I measured it and height was perfect. It's like I'm driving a car with a sprained ankle..lols.

It's not a big difference, it is perfectly normal. Now just enjoy your new suspension and sleep well, it is fine.
