When I first got my car around christmas the cruise control worked fine on my manual 04 gt.
YOu push a button in, then a button comes on in the gauge interface that says "cruise" in green letters.
You would then push down the lever at whatever speed u wanna cruise.
Yeah I assume you all know how that works...
Well now when I push that button the light doesnt come on, and the cruise control just won't work.
I wonder if it's a wire problem or maybe a fuse?
anyone else had this problem?
Halp
10A STOP
5A BK/UP LP
5A WARNING
5A ECU-IG
are the associated fuses. There is also a troubleshooting method using the cruise control light you can find in the manual.

ok so I should take out that side panel in the passenger side and check the fuses marked with those ?
And yeah I'll check my manual for troubleshooting.

well i checked the manual and all it says is if the Cruise control light doesnt come on check your local toyota dealer....
In the thing with the fuses in it they arent labeled except for the power like 5, 10 ,15 etc.
Should there be a map of which fuse goes where or stuff like:
10A STOP
5A BK/UP LP
5A WARNING
5A ECU-IG
^^this?
well i checked the manual The Service Manual, not the Owner's Manual.
You will find the fuse info in the Electrical Section: http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?p=39012#post39012
& on the fusebox covers.

the fuse you mentioned earlier are said on the plastic panel on the passenger side to be there, but they aren't there, the grid pictured shows the first two rows of fuses horizontally which I can see clearly but it shows another row vertically on the right of it, which I can't see there...
do I have to pull plastic away from the passenger side bottom console part to access these fuses or something?
not even the owner's manual shows how to get to them...

nvm....it turns out the fuses there are multi-fuses and carry for several functions altho the diagram in the damn car shows all of them as separate ones...
either way its not the fuses...
what were you talking about about the cruise control box?
what is that and how do I check if that's the problem?
the toyota dealer would charge me 95$ just to check it out...

If you've done anything w/the gauge cluster, check the connections.
