ok i know this guy who has just put a NX kit on.....he says that he sprays in first gear at about 3g's......is that true?....i always thought u had to be in atleast 2nd gear to shoot safely?....also, he says that he has no fire button, just an activation button....he told me that all he has to do is jus floor his car and once it feels intense acceleration, sorta like how autos work, the nitrous jus keeps on sprayin', even through the shifts.....c'mon now....i dont know much about f/i, but this seems like :bs: to me....oh yeah, he says he's sprayin' 75.....thats believable, but i dont know how long his car can handle 75 the way he says hes sprayin'.....i know the guy kinda good.....i took him for a ride in my gt-s and showed him how LIFT worked.....he liked it too(that was about a week before he got NX)....imma try to get him to take me for a ride to see how his NX works.....oh yeah he jus bough this car about a month ago.......he has a big a$$ 10lb bottle in the trunk...

No BS at all...

There is nothing really wrong with spraying in 1st gear. The only reason people says its bad...is because of traction problems. Most people on here who spray in 1st tend to loose traction pretty fast...

With my 35shot I can spray in 1st with minimal traction loss...keep a good eye that you dont spray too early (I spray at 3600) and make sure you dont spray close to fuel-cut...and you are ok.

On his GT, I would say he is indeed shooting a 75shot. How realiable it will be...who knows, its a time thing. I personnaly wouldnt put that kind of load on the auto tranny.

Another thing, I would say most people on the boards dont use a "button" to spray...most are activated through full throttle. Its the safest way of using nitrous since you have less chance of running lean and doing damage to the car.

damn, i guess the guy was telling the truth.....i was skeptic about him, cuz he's a sales person and therefore a very good story teller....hmmmm.....N2O doesnt seem so bad after all.....i was thinking about gettng it but i was gonna wait for a TRUE f/i......say Blitz s/c.....but now that so many people are shooting, i might jus get N2O......i dunno yet though....still a risky business shooting N2O.....ya know....

it is risky, i know how you feel but after squeezin 75 in my gt, its such a kick in the pants, that you wish your car could produce that much power all the time. i rarely use the nitrous but when i do i figure i might as well use the biggest shot/jet combo my nx kit came with-(75)

Alright, hopefully this thread will have been moved to its correct place.....anyways, i have a00' GTS and the guy that i was talking about above obviously owns the 75 shot GT.....all i have on is an InjenCAI RD and TRD Exaust and a really $hitty, boggy first gear.....the GT guy is totally stock except for the 75 shot9which means a LOT).....anyhow, i went to his store to pick up my speaker yesterday and was talking to this other guy that works there about his newly N2O Integra and out of no where, the owner comes up to the counter and says u wanna race, and i was like you're gonna whoop me, but i'll race ya anyways.....so we went out to this lil' strip where cars are abundant.....

1st Race--> first gear launched and totally bogged out....the GT was about two car lengths ahead before my car evens attempts to go 5mph....i get it going and land all gears....he finishes about 5-6 cars lengths ahead of me before we shut it down....GT-->1, GTS-->0

2nd Race--> first gear lauched @3g and bith cars get nice launches.....i hear his N2O kick in but then my lift kicks in a split second after....we're neck and neck.....i pull about a bumper length on him and then i just shot past him and i'm wondering WTF.....i shut it down and by that that time he was aleady turning around.......i catch up to him in a Honda dealership parking lot and he says his switch bent......Oooops oh well, i'll take that win since i was a leading by a lil anyways......GT-->1, GTS-->1

......we take a look at his switch and he bends it back....i tell him i want another run because i felt that i would of had him even if his switch didn't bend.....so he agrees....

3rd Race--> we both spin first but i also bod a lil'.....his throttle engaged him at 3g and i hear him peeling off before i hit 4500....he's by two cars already.....i hit lift and stay behind him two cars the whole way......but i did see him pull on me lil by lil....GT--> 2, GTS-->1

all in all it was fun but at the same time i was a lil disapointed, but then i keep telling myself he had Nitrous and that gives me hope still;) ......i still dread my first gear cuz it bogs so BAD....makes me wanna get N2O to help out my lower rpms out...i'll have my day again and we'll race again......my hopes are on the "Blitz S/C-->Please Come Out to Play With Us Soon<--"....i jus might get a 50 shot anyways though....

i got the same thing. a WOT switch it comes on when i floor it and its a 75 shot and a 10lb bottle thats standard. i always spray first when i race right from the launch and i got about 20 runs on it and its holdin good im movin up to my 100 shot soon. the only thing you cant do is spray in between gears yull blow the motor.
