just wrapped some trunk plugs with close to 1D0 vinyl and it turned out better than I expected. pics of wingless car soon :)

Black Celica, ftw. I bought $2 rubber plugs at Autozone, they blend in nicely. :D

On the small stock spoiler? 4 bolt holes, 2 on each side, and 4 nipples, 2 on each side.

The TRD spoiler that came factory, is more complicated. The body shop cleaned it up for me, but I believe there was a total of 8 bolt holes, 4 on each side, the same amount of nipples, and another hole on the driver side for the 3rd brake light wiring.

if you did like me and just cut a small circle then stuck it over the hole then yes someone could poke it out

plus mine has the nipples .. how do you get rid of those and what happens when you do.

only way to get the nipples out is to snip them off and grind them down (normally requires repainting the trunk and if your doing that may as well have them fillin the holes properly.

no, noone has poked the holes in mine though a buddy who used clear vinyl, they poked his out

i would but i know being able to see the nipples will bother me. I want it to look as clean as possible, and i think theres a silver celica around my neighborhood that has the same thing done... looks good...but at the same time the nipples are noticeable.

Same with me! When I removed my OEM TRD wing a few weeks ago it left 8 holes, nipples, and a hole where the wiper was mounted. Now I see why shops want so much to fill the holes and repaint the hatch.

Jeff i'm doing wingless for daily and shoots but at shows i throw the wing back on. I like the cleaner less outlandish look for around town but at shows i want it to stand out :D I'll have the wing on at the meet i just have to go pick it up along with something else at the painter that i had candied to match the hood

well i ditched the plug idea and just cut the vinyl into circles and stuck them on there, really good color match!

no they are bigger, the visible nipple is plastic which i nipped off and theres a rivet under it, if you nip off the plastic it will reduce half its size

in no way, I believe the nipples where set there to mount the wing on faster while in production
